In honor of International Mario Day,  Lego and Nintendo have announced a new collection of new Lego new Super Mario. Including a fresh look at Bowser’s Castle and a look at Donkey, Kong is in the game—his way. The Lego Super Mario line launched in 2020 and has released over 60 interactive sets to date. Although, many more complex sets, including Mighty Bowser, have been released outside of the Lego Super Mario brand. However, to mark Mario Day, Lego returned to the Super Mario line, introducing the Dry Bowser Castle Battle set. Not to be confused with the already released Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle add-on, just in case you’re sure you’ve seen it. Something similar before.

This latest version of Bowser’s castle features two towers flanking a central tower, complete with a massive stone head. Everything is set on a bed of lava, accompanied by Magmaargh, and beyond the secret entrance. Players will find a Dry Goomba and Dry Piranha Plant on the bastions, as well as a Dry Bowser. The movie

The Lego Super Mario Dry Bowser Castle Battle set will be released on August 1st, but the price has not been revealed yet. And as for Lego Donkey Kong, there’s not much to report at the moment – other than it’ll be joining the Lego Super Mario line sometime this summer.

Although the Lego Super Mario line has included several relatively minor characters, from Birdo to every single Koopaling. Donkey Kong is conspicuous by its absence. In the same way, there are Wario and Waluigi, about whom it is impossible not to know.

It’s also possible that next year’s settings will try to tie directly or indirectly to the Super Mario Bros movie. Especially since Donkey Kong’s design here is based on his old weird look and yet he’s completely redesigned the movie.

Skeleton Dry

With the help of a mobile app and electronic figures that interact with buildable Super Mario tracks. Lego Super Mario has finally become a huge hit for the toymaker. And since its 2020 debut, it’s received countless additions, including in-game items and both. Mario is joined by electronic figures Luigi and Princess Peach.

Non-interactive versions of Mario’s nemesis Bowser have appeared several times in the Lego Super Mario collection, including a massive 2,807-piece buildable Mighty Bowser that arrived last year. On March 10th, we get a version of the character: Dry Bowser, who first appeared in New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS in 2006 after Mario threw Bowser into lava. Unfortunately, fate has made the character immune to fireball attacks.

The skeletal Dry Bowser has since appeared in other Super Mario games, including Mario Kart Wii and the Mario & Sonic sports games. He’s finally joining Lego Super Mario and bringing his castle with him. The new Lego Super Mario Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion Set is built with 1,321 pieces and interactive figures. With the rescue of a Purple Toad, held captive by the Bone Piranha Plant, Bone Goombas, fiery Magmaarghs, and Dry Bowser himself.

The set will be available for purchase at Lego physical and online stores starting August 1 for $110.
